Medbourne Sports Club

Overview

Medbourne is very fortunate in that it has an active sporting community and excellent facilities, which are used by both residents and non-residents of the village.

The Medbourne Sports Club oversees and administers the facilities which are shared between the separate sections of the club managing their respective sports: Football, Cricket, Tennis, Bowls and Skittles.

The sports facilites are located mainly on Hallaton Road, where the cricket/football pitch, tennis courts and clubhouse (shown right) are located. The bowling green stands directly in front of the Horse and Trumpet on Main Street.

Hiring the Facilities

The Sports Club has extensive and well appointed facilities, including a bar, kitchen and dance floor, which are available for hire. Events such as wedding receptions, parties, etc. can easily be accommodated.
