Pie Night
To be held at MEDBOURNE SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB
Reviving the fun porky pageant - last held in October 2022.
- Free to enter - just bring your pie(s) on the night and register your entry.
- Non-homemade pies will be accepted for auction or shared feasting.
- Pies for judging must be homemade - any shape as long as the filling is fully encased in pastry - pasties ok, but no flans or tarts!
- An expert panel will judge the pies in three categories:-
Savoury, Sweet & Traditional Pork Pie. - Winners will be declared in each category and rosettes/trophies awarded.
- The coveted “Medbourne Pork Pie Trophy” will be awarded to the winner of the Traditional Pork Pie category.
- Whole pies may be donated for auction with proceeds to Sports Club funds.
- Judged pies (cut for tasting) may be reclaimed or portioned for sharing on the night - byo condiments if you like.
Come along and share a Slice of Pie with the Upper Crust

Village Halls Week - Social Event
Village Halls Week, 17th - 23rd March
Celebrating, encouraging and supporting volunteers.
Medbourne Village Hall invites you to a social event to celebrate all volunteers.
6pm - 8pm

Parish Council Meeting

Please note that this meeting will be held at the Sports Club.
24x24 Challenge
Medbourne Cricket Club have planned a 24-hour event starting at 6pm on 21/3 and will run 4 miles at 4 hourly intervals overnight. The aim is to raise funds for the cricket club and Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Senior's Lunch Club
How the club runs:-
- We ask that you confirm you are attending by the previous Friday, as we collect the shopping on the Monday/Tuesday, so it is helpful know the numbers by then.
- You can ring Mike on 01858 565377 or 07720 133233 or Gail on 01858 565430 and if not in please leave a message.
- There is no joining fee and the dinners cost £5 for a main meal, dessert and tea/coffee.
- If anyone would like to join the club please contact either by phone or email equestrians@btinternet.com and we can forward a registration form.
Charity Fun Run
Lace up your running shoes and join us at the Medbourne Village Shop for a fun-filled hour of running for a great cause. We will be finishing at The Rural Relaxing Campsite for coffee and home baked goodies!
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or looking for a new challenge, here’s a chance to raise funds for Autism while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Welland Valley.

Quiz and Play Your Cards Right
To be held at the Sports Club.
Arrive at 7 for 7.30 start. Usual format.
£3 per person.
Raffle tickets and play your cards right tickets available during the evening.
Tables maximum of 6 people.
