Computer Monday - Social Media

Introduction to Social Media including the different platforms available in the UK. The session will allow guests to see Social Media in action looking at Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest, demonstrating how each one can be used. We will look at how businesses are using Social Media to support Marketing campaigns and how they are used at home.
The session is aimed at those who don't use Social Media but are interested in finding out more, and also new users who want to get more out of what they are currently doing. We will supply some useful information to make sure everyone's Social Media experience is as safe and as rewarding as possible.

    Amy has over 20 years professional communications experience and has for the  last four years headed up Global Social Media at an International distribution  business. She has just launched a consultancy business -  birdonthewirecomms.co.uk - specialising in PR and Social Media support for  small to medium sized organisations.

Senior Citizens' Lunch
To be held at the Sports Club.
This is for Senior Citizens. The cost is £5 per person to include a lunch a sweet and tea or coffee.
Anyone who wants to join the Lunch Club (no joining fee) can contact Mike Rickman (565377) with their details and to book a place.
Participants should arrive at the Sports Club for 11.30 with the lunch at 12.30. There are no tickets but please book a place no later than the previous Friday so the Sports Club knows how many to cater for.
