Come and Sing Handel with Nevill Holt Opera
  2pm - 5pm
    St Giles Church, Medbourne
Free event but booking essential via www.nevillholtopera.co.uk/come-sing.
Following the popularity of our first Come & Sing Opera Choruses in 2015, in which participants sang operatic music from Donizetti to Wagner, we are delighted to announce our 2016 Come & Sing Handel, focussing on choruses from this great composer's most popular work, Messiah.

NHO Artistic Director Nicholas Chalmers will take you through specially chosen repertoire, and a short performance by a NHO Young Artist will complement your afternoon.

This event is free of charge and open to all singers of any level - both enthusiasts and beginners are welcome. Tea and biscuits will be provided.
This Come & Sing event is part of the run up to NHO's performance of Handel's Messiah in the stunning setting of Leicester Cathedral on Saturday, 3rd December at 7pm. This concert will feature world class young opera singers and our wonderful NHO chorus and orchestra accompanying, together with the Choir of Leicester Cathedral. During the performance, the NHO Community choir and our Come & Sing participants will be invited to join in with the singing of the Hallelujah Chorus.

For information and tickets to NHO's Messiah at Leicester Cathedral please go to www.nevillholtopera.co.uk/messiah.
