Village Barbecue - NOW FULLY BOOKED
This is an invitation for you! I am organising a very special charity event in a wonderful huge tipi tent at Rural Relaxing, Hallaton Road, Medbourne! This will be in aid of HOPE Against Cancer and Medbourne's Village projects.
It's Sunday lunchtime BBQ. I am trying to make this something really special and raise lots of money for HOPE Against Cancer and Medbourne's various projects requiring funds including the Sports Club, Village Hall Restoration Fund, etc.
I really hope that you can come and please bring friends and family, and feel free to forward this on and to get a crowd together - let's have a SELL OUT!
Small sponsorship packages for businesses are available, so you can promote what you do. This will include your Company's advertising & promotional material to be placed on site on the day and packages start from £25 - £150. Sponsors names will also be printed on the tickets & on acknowledgement boards in key locations around the site.

Update (14th May 2018) - Ticket Update
Tickets are selling very well so please, if you are wanting to attend, please email Caroline to book your tickets! The band is secured and the party fever is mounting! This is a ticket only event and will be going ahead whatever the weather because it will be inside the giant tipee! For catering purposes, tickets are not available to purchase on the day and we need to know numbers prior to the date! Thank you for supporting Leicestershire's Hope Against Cancer and Medbourne Village Projects.

Parish Council Meeting

Neighbourhood Plan Referendum
To be held in the Village Hall. Polling Station closes at 10:00pm.

Senior Citizens' Lunch
To be held at the Sports Club.
This is for Senior Citizens. The cost is £5 per person to include a lunch a sweet and tea or coffee.
Anyone who wants to join the Lunch Club (no joining fee) can contact Mike Rickman (565377) with their details and to book a place.
Participants should arrive at the Sports Club for 11.30 with the lunch at 12.30. There are no tickets but please book a place no later than the previous Friday so the Sports Club knows how many to cater for.
