Please come along and bring any home-grown vegetables (including the famous home-grown pumpkin competition). Pies, crumbles and spirits are also welcome. We will have a fun auction for the items and all proceeds go towards the Medbourne Sports Club charity.

Commencing Monday, 10th October - Village Hall - 2-4pm.

Pie, pasty and sausage roll competition
Medbourne’s own Bake Off. Entries will be taken from 18.00 and judging will take place at 19.30 the only rule being that the judge's decision is final. There are no separate categories for vegan or vegetarian pies, pasties or sausage rolls, however feel free to bring them along and take part. There are two main classes "Home-made" and "Bought-in".
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for pies, pasties and sausage rolls.
This promises to be a good fun evening to be enjoyed by all.
So it's “Ready Steady Cook” and see you at Medbourne Sports Club.
Senior's Lunch Club
How the club runs:-
- It is generally always the last Thursday in the month and we ask that you confirm you are attending by the previous Friday, as we collect the shopping on the Monday/Tuesday, so it is helpful know the numbers by then.
- You can ring Mike on 01858 565377 or 07720 133233 or Gail on 01858 565430 and if not in please leave a message.
- There is no joining fee and the dinners cost £5 for a main meal, dessert and tea/coffee.
- If anyone would like to join the club please contact either by phone or email equestrians@btinternet.com and we can forward a registration form.
Meet the Neighbours
An evening hosted by the Village Hall to get to know your neighbours. A social gathering with a cash bar!
No ticket required, free entry and if our budget will stretch, there may even be a few nibbles!
Just turn up. We hope to see lots of people from the village for a nice social occasion.
